Brief summary

Eerikkala Golf is located in the town of Tervo in Northern-Savo, about 55 km west of Kuopio on Road 551. The course is located about 1,5 km from the centre of Tervo along Kirkkotie, following the signs for Eerikkala Golf & Kievari. The golf course is on the left of Kirkkotie. Map address: Kirkkotie 44, Tervo.

The course is in the centre of Tervo, near the waterway, featuring 9 holes. For an 18 hole round, the course is about 5,400 meters with a par of 72. In the national "Course Ranking 2021", Eerikkala received TOP 3 rankings in no less than three categories:

• No. 1 golf course in Finland in terms of the Price/Quality ratio,
• No. 3 golf course in Finland in terms of Most Comfortable Course, and
• No. 2 golf course in Finland in terms of the Best 9 Hole Course

Among all golf courses in Finland, Eerikkala ranks 36th in the 2021 rankings.

The Kievari, which operates in an old log house, offers lunch, savoury and sweet snacks and cold and hot drinks during the playing season. The Kievari has full alcohol-rights.  The Kievari can also be used to order meals/catering for the group, for example in connection with the competition or outside lunchtime. Golf equipment is also on sale at the club.

The course was significantly modified in 2017. The modified course was designed by the golf course architect Jorma Eriksson. The clubhouse has been relocated since the 2017 modification. Now, in addition to the yellow (54) and red (46) tees, the handicapping system also recognises the 18-hole option 54+46 (blue).  In this case, the front nine is played from the yellow tee and the back nine from the red tee. This possibility creates variations in the handicap rounds as well.

Eerikkala Golf club is a member club of The Finnish Golf Union. Members from abroad are accepted and visitors are welcome.

The course is closed during the winter and will be open from April to October.
